Spiritual growth, discernment, and compassion

Jesus, Muddy Creek is Your church. This is Your body of believers. Thank You for joining us together in Your name, for the glory of Your name, and for the work of the Kingdom of God. Grant us, along with the other local churches, a heart that seeks the sanctification and the spiritual growth of others. May we, by the Holy Spirit, have hearts that see beyond ourselves. Grant us wisdom and understanding to teach others Your way.Help us to recognize the needs of those hurting around us and among us. Help us see them as You created them to be--as bearers of Your image. Help us weep for their souls, their hearts, and their struggles. And to rejoice in their life with You. This to the end that You would be glorified in and by Your Church forevermore. Amen. (John 11:34; I John 4:7-11)
